Paulownia is light in weight and pale blonde in colour with its own character grain but approximately the same strength as Cedar. It has a magic feel like a firm balsa wood. It is very light and can be painted or stained to resemble any timber. it has a large range of applications and can be used for different purposes from interior to exterior.

it is common practice to use paulownia lining boards for wall covering, paulownia siding, paulownia can also be used to make high end furnitures, musical instruments, used as break boards for taekwondo and martial arts performance and competitions. paulownia board is also widely used for casket and coffin in funeral applications.

paulownia is an ideal wood core for skis and surfing boards, due to its light weight and pop up flexibility. vertically laminated paulownia is laminated by using 20mm width paulownia strips in 6-12mm thickness, edge glued to achieve the desired width of 320mm or 500mm, used for ski cores, surfboard cores.
